VRG's From The Ashes EP

We’re nothing short of stoked to welcome VRG’s first ever EP - From The Ashes - to the Space Yacht label. His sound seamlessly represents the harder side of our roster, and we’re hyped for you guys to interact with it.

You’ve probably heard VRG’s collab with Rated R “Womp Womp,” which took over the bass scene getting played all over Lost Lands and exploding on social media. His music has made it to stages across the world thanks to the leading legends in EDM like Excision, ATLiens, Snails, Carnage, and Flosstradamus.

From the Ashes is our first EP release, and VRG’s first project of this nature as well. He has played several of our events in the past and our reaction was always, ‘wow, I didn’t know he was like that,’ in the best way. But as they all say, it really do be like that sometimes.

Let's put it this way -- VRG is a sound design master who has made it his mission to add extra spice and flavor to the music menu of today. The Boardman, Oregon native has risen to the center stage to throw down insane beats you haven’t even heard yet.

His true talent lies in his ability to diversify sound and create music that breaks boundaries in all of EDM - from driving the 808s, hyperdrive kicks, and knockout leads that feel like exhilarating punches from Mike Tyson. 

The three tracks off the EP -- Headlock, Whiplash and Temptation -- are a blend of dubstep and trap and truly transport you to another dimension.

“From The Ashes to me is a sign of rebirth after death,” VRG said. “These songs mark a new era for me after endlessly working to get to the position that I’m in right now and the start of a reign that will never end. All tracks in this project are made with bottled up emotions of love, passion, rage, malice and rebellion.”
