We can’t believe our first trip outside of LA in over nine months is over, and it happened to be a trip to San Francisco. We considered SF to be a second home for us and we’ve become close with so many of the fans who have come to our shows over the years. We even got a write-up in SF Weekly, which was a total honor.

Friday had a stacked lineup of BayArea native TRST, our very own LondonBridge, TCHiLT and Mntra of Boiz House and the birthday boy himself, OMNOM (Scorpio szn was definitely in full swing). We chose The Midway for their unmatched COVID safety precautions, and they didn’t disappoint -- while the future of live events will be up in the air  for the short-term, we’re still optimistic about what’s in store for the future.

While Friday hit us with some rain, the show was shockingly almost sold out.  Homies from near and far came through, and it was so refreshing to be reunited with our crew and see the community getting after it despite the weather. We kicked off our Saturday brunch show with VNSSA, Davi A, Andy P, and Shane One, and the lineup aptly decided to take the daytime setting to lean into disco weapons - the perfect soundtrack for bottomless mimosas.

DEM2 kicked off Saturday afternoon with their worldwide debut and performed a track we’ll be releasing exclusively on Space Yacht. Originally hailing from the Bay, we found these guys through Tune Reactor and couldn’t be more proud of the trajectory they are on.

Keeping the Bay energy strong, FOOLiE and Goshfather brought the heat and we carried on our tradition of celebrating OMNOM’s birthday with a VNSSA & OMNOM B2B to cap off the weekend. Raving six feet apart is definitely a different experience, but we’ll do what we gotta do to ensure things go as back to normal as they can.

Putting on that all-access wristband at our first IRL event after nine long months hit different. We’re stoked that The Midway was able to make Open Air a reality for us, and it felt so damn good to see your faces out there. For those of you who missed this epic weekend, we got you covered. You can peep the livestream on our Twitch channel here.

Until next time,

Team Space Yacht
